DESIGNING YOUR CUSTOM DINING SUITE
To put it simply, the design options are endless! Because each and every item is individually hand crafted, you have complete flexibility with your selections – from shape, style, timber, comfort and upholstery (we can even incorporate custom features should you require).
We offer Round, Square, Rectangle and Oval shape tables and by using Tailored Design can modify any shape or size to best fulfil your space.
Round and Square Tables
Especially popular in recent years, choosing a Round or Square Dining Table offers a beautifully symmetrical design and allows for comfortable seating, with everyone spaced evenly to share conversation, food and drink.
Choosing a shape like this helps to balance a room and creates a focal point, so your timber selection will become a true feature.
Oval and Rectangular Tables
Typically known as the more traditional styles, choosing an elongated shape is perfect for a space that’s more narrow in width. It’s also most practical or to offer extra seating. This choice can be beneficial in an open Living Space, as it creates a clear distinction for your Dining zone.
And if being placed alongside your kitchen, having this shape will usually follow the same orientation of your island bench so it creates a beautiful flow from kitchen to dining.
Extendable Tables
Undoubtably, this is always our first pick… Because the choice of an extension table essentially means you have 2 tables. A smaller one for daily use, with the option of a larger one as required.
We use not only premium timbers, but a quality butterfly mechanism which allows you to seamlessly open and close your table as often as needed. Gently pull the table out from either end so it opens from the middle. Then, from one side, lift the timber leaves from within and gently spread them to lay flat – creating a new section of table. Lastly, from either end, push the table together to lock in place.

We know we’ve already mentioned this (a number of times), but that’s because it really makes all the difference when choosing your Furniture. While it offers the best outcome aesthetically, it also ensures longevity… And that’s essential when committing to Furniture for your home.
We specialise in Tasmanian Blackwood, Tasmanian Oak, Victorian Mountain Ash, Western Australian Jarrah, Tasmanian Silver Wattle or American Oak. Alternatively, if you have existing furniture pieces you’d like to match, our specialist polishers can closely match colour tones. So in other words, the colour options are endless…
And our Upholstery options are equally as special. Sourcing from only the finest fabric houses in Australia, we work very closely with Warwick Fabrics, Zepel Fabrics and Wortley to ensure we offer maximum choice, durable wear and something comfortable to touch. Additionally, there are so many choices available with integrated stain repellent which is something we always get excited to offer our clients (particularly when it comes to upholstering Dining Chairs).
And if you prefer the practicality of Leather, we are proud to offer the finest Tasman Leather (also available in a large range of colour and finish options). Beautiful to touch and effortless to maintain, we are very fond of choosing Leather for Dining Chairs.
