Sourcing predominately Australian materials and hardwood timbers, carefully made by our team of Australian craftspeople… For Australian customers. We continue to support and appreciate what we have available in our amazing country.

As a proudly Australian owned & operating business, we’re extremely grateful to say nothing we create is mass-produced or imported. Our highly skilled furniture makers craft every piece by hand in our local factory using Australian sourced materials. We remain committed to investing in local jobs and industry for the benefit of our employees and our customers.

We also have Australasian partners in New Zealand who provide us with the very best leathers. Best of all, we have all our fabrics and leathers on display in our local showroom. Nordic Design Furniture grew from humble beginnings in South Australia. Our inspiration came from minimalist Scandinavian style, embodied by simple lines, functionality, and sustainability. Since the very beginning, our focus has always been to complement the beauty of natural timber with quality finishes. This is something we’ve maintained through our many years of crafting.

Starting as a modest family owned and operated business, selling individually handcrafted furniture to our local customers, Nordic Design has since grown to become one of Adelaide’s leading furniture manufacturers… With our beautiful Australian Made Timber Furniture being sought after by customers across Australia.

With our furniture being designed and crafted locally, this offers a truly personalised experience for each customer. We enjoy the opportunity to work alongside our customers to bring their designs to reality.
