So, how exactly do you choose the right bedroom furniture? Firstly, determine what style you’d like for your bedroom. Is this a room that shouts contemporary or does it ooze traditional charm? Whichever direction, we have no doubt we can design and build something just right.

Contemporary, Traditional… Or something in between?
In our showroom we have a range of bedroom pieces for you to admire up close… Which is really only skimming the surface. Since all of our products are made locally, this means that custom options are endless. Perhaps your vision is one of contemporary lines and open space? In other words, you’re thinking of something like our Elliot design... As pictured here, you can see the slightly rounded edges and discreet floating base. Soft curves and beautiful angles combined with slim, hidden legs – effortlessly modern. Of course, there are matching bedside cabinets available too… As well as tallboys and chests of drawers.
While this is only one variation, we also offer bedroom furniture with more traditional elements. The Nord Sleigh incorporates a curved timber headboard, as well as a matching bed end. While more traditional, the slat features still allow light to travel through and the subtle curves soften the overall design.
Of course, nothing quite says traditional luxury like an upholstered headboard. Our Gray Bed (while modern in some aspects) is a lovely compromise when your style is undecided. With hardwood timber and square edges, this bed will become a feature piece. The leather-upholstered (or fabric if you prefer) headboard takes place to introduce luxury and softness back into the design.

BEDSIDE TABLES / CABINETS
An item that’s undervalued in our opinion… Bedside cabinets are a handy little piece of storage that’s easily accessible (day or night). Plus, with so many extra options… Made in any door or drawer combination, measured to any depth with a range of handles or push to open option. Ideal for personal or occasional items, these cabinets hide bits and pieces you don’t have a home for. Consider extra features like cable holes to feed through the back of your bedside table too (it can be very useful for keeping everything in its place).
CHEST OF DRAWERS / TALLBOYS / STORAGE
With matching cabinetry options, you’ll never be stumped for bedroom storage. Tall boy cabinets are ideal if you’re lacking floor space – they work upwards instead of outwards which maximizes your storage. Alternatively if you want to keep things low and spacious, a chest of drawers is ideal. Customize all bedroom furniture to the dimensions you need for ultimate functionality.
OF COURSE… THE BED
This piece will become the center point of your room – so it needs to sit harmoniously with your other pieces. If you’re lacking space, you may consider a slim design and lighter timber selection. This will create an illusion of more space and also lighten the whole area. Of course you may wish to include some hidden storage under your bed (which is certainly practical). In this case, deep drawers are a fantastic solution and when closed give the impression of a full base bed.
And, with any design you choose, there are always extra things to consider… For example, take note of your mattress height and how tall you wish for your bed to sit once complete. We can build your bed frame to a specific height so it complements the height of your mattress. Our experienced staff can talk you through all of the technical things like this and explain the many options available to you.
